How do I search for a specific appliance?
There are three ways to search for a specific appliance on this website:
By Model number: If you already have an appliance model number that you wish to purchase, use the search function in the top left-hand section of the page to find the product on our site. You can type either the full model number, or part of the model number into this field and all results that match this search-string will appear in the main section of the page.
By Product number: This is a unique identifying code used by many manufacturers. Enter all or part of the Product number into the search box and the results will appear in the main section of the page.
By Category: You can search through all the products in a category by using the Product Categories on the menu on the left-hand-side of the website. Each category has sub-categories, allowing you to refine your search.

I can't find a product on your website, can you help?
If you have been unable to find the machine that you are looking for, this does not necessarily mean that we are unable to supply the product to you. The best solution to this is to email us or call us and we shall let you know if it is a product that we sell. If it is an appliance that is already on our site then we shall email you the link to the relevant page and if it is not then we shall let you know how you can order this machine from The Appliance Warehouse.

Can I collect an appliance from you?
Collections are available from several warehousing locations around the South-East of England. Please contact our sales team on 08700 10 49 01 to arrange any special arrangements.

Do you install appliances?
Yes. We offer installation of all appliances. Throughout South-East England we are able to provide full installation services. Within the rest of mainland UK we offer installation of the following appliances: Washing Machine, Dishwasher, Cooker (Gas or Electric).

Are your engineers qualified to install my appliance?
All of our installation engineers are given thorough electrical and gas training prior to being sent out to perform installations. They are required to pass an electrical appliance safety assessment called Domestic Appliance Testing and Electrical Safety. Gas engineers are given on-the-job training prior to attending a thorough Gas Safety course. Upon completion of this course the engineer will be registered with Corgi. We also have an internal training scheme for our engineers, which ensures that all of the products that our engineers install are installed in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements. This is coupled with on-going training from the manufacturers who provide specific product installation training.

Do you offer installation throughout the UK?
We can provide nationwide installation service, through a network of service centres. The product would be delivered and installed by your local service centre, which would be organised centrally by The Appliance Warehouse. Our own engineers cover the south-east of England; outside of this geographical area the installation is out-sourced by us to separate organisations.

Can you dispose of my old appliance?
Removal of your old appliance is always included when you order the installation service, unless the product contains refrigerants (see below for details of refrigeration recycling). If the appliance is not being installed, we can still organise disposal of the old machine. Please email us with details of the product that you need to dispose of and we can provide you with a quote.Refrigeration products require treatment prior to disposal, which must be performed at a licenced refrigeration treatment plant. For this reason, it is necessary to make a charge for the recycling of your old refrigeration waste. For further information regarding the removal and recycling of your old appliances, please click here.

What do you mean by "manufacturer's seconds" or "graded appliances"?
We are supplied with products directly from several manufacturers that are classed as "seconds". What this means is that for some reason the product has not passed the strict requirements for quality control. This would usually be due to slight blemishes or marks on the outer casing of the machines. If the blemishes are very noticeable, the relevant panels will be replaced to make the machine more presentable. In most cases, the original packaging will have been removed and the product will have been thoroughly tested, then repackaged. Here are some important factors to note when purchasing a manufacturer's second:All products are provided with a full manufacturer's warranty
All products are packaged in some form of packaging
All products are brand new. In some cases, these products may be ex-display or incorrectly ordered products that have been unpacked, but do not have any marks or blemishes. Manufacturer's seconds are sometimes referred to as "Graded Products".

Can I extend my guarantee?
Extended warantees are available on most products. The Appliance Warehouse is an agent for Domestic & General Insurance Services Ltd, the largest insurer of domestic appliances in the UK. For details of policies, please click here.

My appliance has developed a fault and is still under guarantee, how do I organise a repair?
Before you attempt to organise a repair for your appliance, please ensure that you have your product number, serial number and sales receipt to hand. You will need this information when booking a service engineer's visit. If you are unable to find these details, we may be able to help you if you email us a request. The contact details for each brand are as follows:

My guarantee has run out and I need a repair, what can I do?
Outside of your period of cover by the manufacturer's guarantee, if you have not purchased any form of insurance or repair protection cover, it will be necessary for you to pay for your repairs. We would always recommend that you use the manufacturer's own service agents, rather than an unauthorised repair company as the quality of your repair will be far greater.

Are you an independent retailer?
The Appliance Warehouse is an independent privately-run company. We do not have an alliegance to any specific brand of appliance and will only recommend products on the basis of quality, features and functionality.
